In running the business as an integrated national energy company in Indonesia. PERTAMINA HULU ENERGI (PHE) is a subsidiary of PERTAMINA assigned to manage Upstream Business. The upstream businesses include exploration, and production of oil and gas taking place across all business locations of Pertamina. PHE Work Areas are divided into 5 (five) Regionals, which covers Domestic Work Areas and International Work Areas spread across Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. PHE has also been a member of United Nation Global Compact (UNGC) since June 2022, committed to the Ten Universal Principles of UNGC in its strategies. In support of the Governance aspect, PHE committed to Zero Tolerance on Bribery, ensuring fraud prevention includes the implementation of the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) standardized under ISO 37001:2016. Continuing to develop prudent operational management both domestically and internationally, PHE aims to achieve its goal of becoming a word-class oil and gas company that is Environmentally Friendly, Socially Responsible, and adheres to Good Governance principles.
