PT Saka Energi Indonesia (PGN Saka) was established on June 27, 2011, as an upstream oil and gas company and an affiliate of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN), Sub-Holding Gas Pertamina. PGN Saka’s shareholders are PGN (99.997%) and PT PGAS Solution (0.003%). The company engages in the upstream oil and gas business, including investment, exploration, development, and exploitation of energy resources. PGN Saka currently manages ten blocks in Indonesia and one shale gas block in Fasken, Texas, United States of America. Six of these blocks are fully operated by PGN Saka with a 100% interest stake. These blocks are Muriah, Pangkah, South Sesulu, Sangkar, West Yamdena, and Pekawai. PGN Saka’s main production block is Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited, located in Ujungpangkah, Gresik Regency, East Java. Another production block is Saka Energi Muriah Limited, located in the Java Sea, Central Java. PGN Saka’s vision is to be a profitable and financially strong oil and gas exploration and production company under Indonesia Energy Holding, while its mission is to provide energy to Indonesia, increase shareholder value, and improve the quality of communities and the environment through synergy with the PGN Group—reflecting its commitment to national energy resilience and sustainable development.
